For all the concern over a North Korean bomb,
why is no one concerned that our erstwhile ally Pakistan
provided the technology behind its development.

Wonder if Valerie Plame has anything to say about the affair.

Well, because if we made a big stink about the Paki's having a "fire-sale" on their nuke tech, I'm sure the fine folks who watch Faux News would get all itchy and twitchy and demand we invade both countries.
It's really all about message control: Can't have the red state hoi polloi gettn' all uppity off cue, now, can we.

/ugh
I hate thinking like that...makes me feel ill, and leaves a bad taste in my palate.

Maybe because Lockheed Martin NEEDS to sell F-16 Mid-life Upgrades?? I mean we are talking about #1,300M program after all!!

Or maybe its because we are having a hard time facing the fact that Pakistan is expanding its own nuclear forces?

You know after all, it is hard to spend $5,000 - 10,000Million per year without buying more nuclear armaments.

Congress could stop this. But, then who would employ all those aircraft builders in Texas???

Sigh.
